There are always questions rattling around in my head. Many begin with Why...? Others with When...? or What...?

As I search for answers, some of these questions find each other and connect. Their unexpected meeting sparks an idea for a project.

The work rarely arrives fully formed. More often it unfolds as a process of discovery. Materials, stories, and artifacts gather around the question, carrying traces of culture, history, and place.

My eyes and hands then take over.
