These three postcards are part of a project called “Matrescence in M/Others’ Tongues”. It asks M/Others to describe their experience of becoming a M/Other (matrescence) in one word. Some may find this easy, others will not. The aim is twofold: to spread the term “matrescence” and to give M/Others the opportunity to stop and think about their own matrescence. The words on these postcards are responses from strangers. Imagine a society where Matrescence is part of our every day parlance.

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
