My work investigates rhythm, density, and dissolution as visual forces. Through series and interconnected bodies of work, I explore how perception is shaped by repetition, variation, tension, and change. Dense areas of lines and marks are set against open pictorial spaces in which forms begin to dissolve and lose their certainty. My works are not intended as carriers of fixed meanings. Instead, they create situations in which perception is set in motion and continuously reorganizes itself. The image is not understood as a finished result, but as part of an open process of observation and discovery.
