Galya Popova — Correspondances #1

My two postcards (diptych "Trees") are handmade. These are original, unique artworks made in mixed media (Indian ink and soft pastel on paper). The text on the postcards is mine. "Last week it was very hot. I couldn't sleep at night, so I went out onto the balcony. I stood and looked at the large poplar tree near our house. Its dark silhouette swayed slightly. Against the night sky, it seemed even larger than it had during the day.

Suddenly, on the other side of the balcony, I saw the same tree in the distance. It's strange that I'd never noticed it before. And yet, they'd been looking at each other all this time."

The artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
