Marjet Visscher: The Poetry of NatureMarjet Visscher (1979) creates oil paintings, drawings, and graphic art inspired by her deep, lifelong connection to nature. Rather than literally capturing reality, Visscher builds immersive worlds that invite viewers to wonder, wander, and lose themselves. Driven by intense observation, her work thrives on powerful contrasts—between light and dark, growth and decay, abstraction and figuration. The result is a vibrant, moving exploration of the natural world, capturing its complex and breathtaking essence.
