War diese Erfahrung hilfreich?
For this open call, I am submitting a series of floral postcards made with pencil, watercolor, and ink. In some of them, I also incorporated pigments extracted from yerba mate and coffee, everyday materials here in Argentina that bring an organic, intimate, and familiar dimension to the work.
The flowers appear as a starting point to explore sensitivity, memory, and the connection with nature. I do not think of them only as botanical motifs, but as forms capable of creating a dialogue with different people and cultures through a shared experience. In this sense, the postcard becomes a small bridge: an image that can travel, be read from different places, and create a connection beyond language.
Each postcard emerges from a manual and experimental process, where technique blends with spontaneity and with the surprise of what appears along the way. I am interested in these works preserving something of the gesture of play: trying, staining, combining materials, and discovering possibilities. Within this small format, each piece becomes a sensitive correspondence, an image that connects through simplicity, delicacy, and the unexpected.
