Leo Ragno

Born in Milan on September 14th 1984, he works and lives in Milan.
Graduated in Painting and specialized in Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts of Foggia, where from November 2012 to 2014 and from 2017 to present he is professor of engraving techniques.
He participated in several competitions and group exhibitions including the Acqui Prize - Acqui Terme International Biennial of engraving in 2007 and 2009, of the XL edition of the "Il Pendio" Award where he won the first prize of the jury in 2008, of the "XI International of engraving of Monsummano Terme ”(PT) in 2009.
In the same year he won the "2009 Youth Award" of the "VII edition of the International Biennial of Florence" and in 2012 he participated in the project in Istanbul "Paylasilan Isaret, II teachers and students of Brera, Rome and Foggia academies of art". In 2013 he participated in the "Biennale of contemporary engraving of Bassano gel Grappa" and was included in the 2008-2003 VI edition of the "Repertory of Italian Engravers" by the Antique and Modern Prints Department of the Municipality of Bagnacavallo.
In 2016 he is present at the "I Biennial Prize for Young Engravers / Bagnacavallo", at the Museo Civico delle Cappuccine, in Bagnacavallo
Among his solo shows: Tabula Rasa "at Bitonto Cultural Workshops (BA) with texts by Lucrezia Modugno and Alessandro Papetti," AL VENTO, exhibition of engravings and monotypes "at the cultural association" La Mancha "in Ruvo (BA).
From 2016 he collaborates with the "Federica Galli Foundation" of Milan for the realization of educational courses and exhibitions concerning the Graphic Art as "Monoatypic" in September 2016.
In 2017 he exhibited in Milan on the occasion of Studi Festival in the collective exhibition "Prisencolinensinainciusol" held in Via Gluck 14 and in Bisceglie (BT) for his personal "Sexual landscape" held at the Palazzo Tupputi by the Cineclub Canudo association.
