"My work has always been about working through and responding to current ideas and things happening.

In recent years Ive been painting through an urban lens, using mark making and imagery as a kind of language or graffiti to give voice to tensions and hopes.

As my work has evolved so has my process. By walking on and moving the canvas up and down from wall to floor , the process has become more physical in nature. my body and the painting have, in a sense, merged. This physical process informs the work along side the conscious  processes of decision making."
