YOFUKURO means OWL in the Kagoshima Prefecture dialect. Owls are considered a symbol of happiness in Japan.
They are brothers and had formed and released works as an artist duo “YOFUKURO” since 2015.
They have a common sensibility, style of production , esthetic and work theme. They have a constant feedback with each other while producing new artworks.
Seiichi Terazono (born in 1980)
Graduated from the Department of Visual Design, Okayama Prefectural University of Design. Graphic designer, painter, sculptor, he works mainly in Kyushu, Tokyo.
