Born in 1990, Pierre de Saint Maur only embraced the path of painting in 2013, after studies that destined him for publishing. Just late enough for a sense of urgency to drive his learning and for him to plunge headlong into the research and development of his pictorial language, through the joint study of the ancients he admires (Rubens, Daumier – often rapids!) and nature where his sensitivity flourishes.

From a constantly practiced drawing, which is the foundation of his know-how, two main channels emerge according to needs: painting and sculpture.
